Need some guidance. With the new addition of BP into credit management. While creating orders and SD documents i'm not seeing my credit limit being triggered because everything maintained in the BP itself is done for an Organization-Business Partner #, Credit Segment tab. When maintaining the SD view tabs we get a customer reference number. So this ref. customer number is what we use in the sales order not the actual BP. In other words a sold to party is coming from the BP customer number and not the BP itself.
Organization: Business Partner: # 257 - Biryani Automotive
Role FLCU01: Customer # 32
So the question is if we maintained the credit limit at BP level how is it that credit limit is being triggered on customer level? Do we have to mandatory make a relationship of Customer to general BP? Didn't it do that already having the customer number 32 already?
I only want to maintain a simple credit limit amount on Biryani Automotive who has 2 divisions: Parts and Vehicles.
We have created 2 Credit segments and 2 credit control areas. i.e Zparts and ZVehicles
